As you may know, we’ve been doing work in a couple of apartment complexes in Lubbock – Cameron Court and Madison Park. Those have grown over the past year, and we feel now is the time to really launch Mission 2540 in Lubbock. We’re ready to add more complexes there and reach even more families,

Matthew Duvall has handled kids club duties on both of those properties the past couple of years, and will continue to do that because he does an incredible job at it. Joy Urlaub began volunteering and helping Matthew out by coordinating our volunteers and snacks through her church. Her skill set and passion for the work we do was evident early on. After months of prayer and discussion (and a little fundraising), we’re excited to announce that Joy is joining our team as Lubbock Operations Coordinator. She’ll be working to grow our reach in Lubbock and replicate what is happening her in Amarillo.

This is a significant step we’re taking, but one we know we’re ready to take – and called to take! Joy and Matthew are a great team to have.
