January Update

And just like that, the first month of 2026 is wrapped up! We started out with beautiful weather that allowed us to get outside and run. We ended with a cold, snow week, but that still didn’t slow down the fun! We spent the month talking about “Being Chill,” and how we can bring conflict or peace to any room we walk in. The Bible is full of both good and bad examples of how that can happen!

It was a great start to the new year, filled with full (and loud) rooms and lots of growing friendships. Check out the photos from January below!

Early this month, the Greentree begged Caitlin to let them play Dodgeball. They had a blast – and no one was injured! (playing with a nerf ball helped)
Four Square is the favorite game of choice for our Spring Terrace kids!

We have 30-40 kids each week at the North Grand Villas. It’s wild trying to find a game they can all play. Banks and Rivers usually gets the job done!
We played at game of “Telephone” at Cathy’s Pointe. With almost 30 kids, many of them young and many who speak English as second language, the results were about as funny as you can imagine!
